Bedframes and Big Grins

There are some traits that I have (or had) I think would be good for Loreli to posses or gain.  One that really would have been better that she try and escape is the ability to direct facial injuries to the eye area.

She is having a Popsicle, because hurt girls get whatever they want (don't let Katy know I said that).

I would like to say that I was uninvolved with this injury, but I guess we are going to have to always use the "how long until one of the kids starts crying" guess when dad is playing.  I was chasing her and she did this lunge, fall thing into the metal bed frame.

On a happier note, Loreli will now smile on command, occasionally.

and this last one is the best

When Dad is Sick

When dad is sick, what do you do? Bring him drinks, give him hugs, or read him books? Of course not! You climb on him!

After all, that's what he gets for laying on the floor.

Disclaimer: our child does wear clothes. We were in the process of getting dressed when she needed to take a little daddy climbing break.

Over, Under

Once you master going over the chairs, then you can work on navigating under the chairs.

Walks are Hard

March has been a pretty slow month.  Apart from the trip south and a sickly baby, not much has been going on, except fantastic weather (75 today!).  This means lots of walks and I guess they are starting to take a toll on the littl'n.

Trip to Star Valley

We have been looking forward to our trip to Star Valley in March since we were last there in December. Even though the winter has been really mild here in North Dakota it's nice to get away even if the place we're getting away to has worse weather conditions. Shea went with Jack and Kade went to Nevada for a two day handgun training course called Front Sight which is amazing, just ask Shea he'll tell you all about it. Loreli and I stayed in SV so she could get croup and spend 5 hours in the SVMC ER getting breathing treatments. Fun. It was nice to be able to have someone take care of me while I was taking care of Loreli. Thanks Gena!

Here are a few pictures of our trip, granted there are only a handful since I was holding a sick baby the majority of our time there.

Playing peek-a-boo in the pantry.

The best part of the whole trip for Loreli was spending time with Aunt Trinity and Uncle Bridger. Anything they did was hilarious! Even when she was all croupy they would get her laughing. Thanks B & T!

On our way back we stopped in Billings, MT for the night at a hotel with a pool! Loreli loved our time in the pool and I am certain would have been content to stay in all night long.

Yep. That's me with a 29 week belly that's still growing!
