Love Day

Happy valentine's day....yesterday. We did celebrate the day, but with moving, house projects and parenting we've been a bit busy and have neglected the blog a bit. So here are a few pictures of the kids on love day.

I made these shirts for the kids two weeks ago when the whole moving thing seemed a little unreal. Oh so by the way, we're moving to Wyoming in one week! Yikes, right? Well, no worries...our house is insane. And as you can see I don't even have time to put pants on the kids. Poor kids. No really, the kids are fine. No one call child services. Everyone and everything is being taken care of. Hang up the phone! So anyway...back to moving, Shea accepted a job in Riverton, Wyoming with Devon Energy at a gas operating plant. We are going to rent our house in North Dakota to our friends and will be renting in Wyoming for a couple of months so we can figure out where to buy a home. Yay for moving!!

Geesh, can't I just get one good picture? Oh kids.

Teeth

My favorite thing in the world these days is getting baby Jack to laugh. He's got the cutest crooked and gappy teeth ever! Check these suckers out!

In case you were wondering, that's a craisin in his mouth. :)

The top four teeth are all coming in at different rates which is why they're so crookedy looking and then the bottom two are just plain gappy and crooked! Ahhh...I love it! Let's just hope he eventually grows out of it.

Happy Monday!!

I mustache you a question.

While going through the Jack's teeny tiny baby things I found this pacifier mustache that Kristen sent Jack right after he was born. I had been saving it because I thought one day he might like pacifiers, but he never did. So I let him play with it and he loved it!

How cute is this little guy?

We love our little Jack!

Potty

I took Loreli to the potty this morning and witnessed something hilarious. She removed the potty seat from the hook on the side of the toilet, placed it in its proper place and then proceeded to remove the bag from her shoulder and placed it on the potty seat hook. Ahhh! I was dying! She did this like she had done it a million times before. Here are a few pictures of the incident.

Remember the dreadful watery accident we had at our house? Well, we are still recuperating from it. The upstairs bathroom has no sink or vanity, no trim, one missing door (there are two entrances), no grout and a missing air vent cover. Hopefully this week we get our bathroom back and can stop brushing our teeth in the kitchen sink! All-in-all just don't think about how icky these pictures are.

"purse holder"

So. Yes. Loreli is potty training. She has been doing really great and has come to learn that although cold showers sound like fun they in truth are miserable!

As an incentive to use the toilet every time she goes she gets a potty treat. That jar was almost full with skittles when we started and it's less than half full now...so you'd think she'd be a pro at this potty going thing now. Maybe she's tricking me?
