Little Butterfly

It snowed. I know what you're all thinking..."Duh, you're in Star Valley!" Well it's true, we are in Star Valley and this place just isn't itself if it doesn't snow a couple of times in April, May and June. Loreli wasn't going to let the cooler weather get her down so she spread some sunshine and color!

**A special thanks to Mysha for providing the butterfly wings which supplied Loreli with much entertainment. Seriously, lots of entertainment. I had to chase her to get any pictures (which explains why they're all from behind) and we know how lovely I look when I run in this 37 week preglore body of mine.**

Digging in the garden.

Washing hands afterwards.
Isn't that messy ponytail so cute? Seriously, I can't get over it.

She hated taking the wings off...I guess it's time to make this gal some dress up!

Hair

I am 100% certain that no one else cares to see another blog post about Loreli's hair, but as her mom I have been dying to do something with her hair since she was born! So here is yet another post.

Look at those beauties! I didn't even have to wrestle her or bribe her with treats today. My only issue today was attempting to get a picture of her face and this is all I got. A nice runny nose.

Springtime and Ponytails

Believe it or not, but it's spring in Wyoming! The weather has been superb and Loreli is loving it because that means we can spend a lot of our days outside. In other shocking news, Loreli let me put her little mullet in a ponytail! I took the advise of auntie Mysha and bribed her with treats and 2 gummy worms later we had a funny little ponytail! Here are some shots of the little lass playing outside sporting her new do.

Seriously the cutest little ponytail ever.

She has also been enjoying the swing Jack brought home the other day.

Love that cheeser!

Fun Times in Star Valley

Did we ever mention that we're having our baby boy in Wyoming? Well...we are. Next month. Hopefully. We left ole North Dakoty last week and are now here in Star Valley! Loreli and I will be here until the little guy comes and Shea will be traveling back and forth on his weeks off. Poor Jack and Gena have to put up with Loreli and me again!

Since Easter was only a week before our arrival, Jack and G decided to wait and do their huge-o egg hunt with all of the kids this last weekend. Of course lots of other fun things happened too such as riding the four wheeler, shooting guns at zombies for hours, and getting to pet the sweet ducklings Jack brought home. Paaar-tay!

Shea, the millions of pictures are for you! We miss you!!

We also made time for the cousins to lounge in their unders.

And a bit more time for tossing rocks into the pond. A new favorite of Loreli's.

Playing with the ducklings. All weekend long Loreli was saying "duuuh"...maybe duck will be her first real word!

The egg hunt! Every year Jack and Gena do a huge egg hunt for all of their kids. Yep. Even the old ones get to hunt! It was even more competitive this year because not only were there treats and dollar bills in the eggs there were 7 special eggs with silver dollars! The egg hunt was split into 3 groups: the little girls (Ella, Rivy and Loreli), the big girls (Me and Trinity), and the big kids (everyone else).
Here's the gang.

The little girls hunting for eggs.

And the big girls' hunting for eggs.
Yep. I am a big girl for sure. Almost 35 weeks preggers here!

And of course the weekend wouldn't be complete without shooting something. In this case it was zombie Jenn and Kade.

Creepy, right? Talented, yet creepy.
And on that note I shall end my super long post.

Happy Easter!

This week in preparation for Easter we have been hiding empty eggs throughout the house for Loreli to find and she did great! Yesterday was the true test though. We hid (or laid on the ground) a dozen treat filled eggs in the backyard and it took 20 minutes for her to locate them all. They were not sneakily hidden at all! They just had yummy treats in them and she had to open them all to make sure they really were treats.

Taking a little treat break.

You may not be able to see it, but Loreli is squealing with delight in this photo. Hilarious.

Today we went to church and Loreli got to wear the Easter dress I made her. She also went to nursery! Shea, like a good father, was chasing this little monkey through the halls during Sunday school and after a while took her into the nursery to play. The ladies in there said she could stay so he left and we were childless for the rest of the meetings!  We went to get her after church was over and she cried when she saw us. I guess this nursery thing won't be a problem after all...it'll just be convincing her to come home with us.

Don't you love her mullet blowing in the wind?

"All done mom!"

And just moments ago I found this in my closet. So glamorous!

We hope you all had an enjoyable Easter!
