The Children

Loreli loves baby Jack. Her love for him has become a lot less frightening, but I still have to keep an eye on her so she doesn't accidentally kill him. She wants to do everything he's doing and loves to help out as much as she can. She's pretty sweet! Here they are doing tummy time together.

Wouldn't you say Jack looks a little concerned? Bless his heart.

Anytime the camera is out Loreli wants to take pictures and look at them. So she and I took a picture together. This picture is proof that I am still alive even though I haven't been in a single picture since the day Jack was born...I guess we know who's the important one around here.

Jack asleep in the swing. I love it when his face squishes into his body because then his cheeks look so chubby! Love those chubby cheeks!

Driveway Painting and Other Happenings

On Saturday Loreli and I went outside during one of Jack's naps and painted the driveway with some homemade liquid sidewalk chalk. A fun and inexpensive activity!

I was surprised that the above activity was less messy than the below activity.

Nap time with dad in its many forms.

The Kids

We have kids now. It's a little weird. Anyway. Since we've been back in North Dakota we haven't been up to much. Baby Jack is proving to be the sweetest baby ever! He really is wonderful. Loreli loves her brother dearly...sometimes her love is scary. So to keep her from killing him and us killing her we distance the two.

Cheesy smiles!

Tummy time with dad.

So Loreli has learned the fine art of stringing things. Today she strung on a long string a bowl full of cheerios...and then she discovered that you can still eat them!

The Pictures Tell the Story

I wasn't around for any of this so we'll just let the pictures tell the story.

Obviously I was here for this picture.  This was our first meeting and as you can see it had the blessing of angels.
