I have never been able to tell what I am supposedly looking at with those old ultrasound pictures, but this I can see. Our child has 2 faces. One growing out of the side of the other one. Not really just in case you were freaking out. I have been around babies a bit before but I would put myself in the "inexperienced" category when it comes to having kids. I thought that an ultrasound was a pretty quick process. Nope. It took about 40 minutes to get all the pictures and angles and whatnot. Also, no one told me you can see the babies brain and that they show it to you and measure it. I didn't like that. Kinda made me dizzy. I have never been one to suffer from claustrophobia before but seeing the baby all smashed in there made me feel tight and closed in. Good thing being born again isn't literal.
We got an A+ from someone after the ultrasound. I assume she was a doctor, she had scrubs on and a white coat and had a clipboard. But she said everything looked great. 14 ounces, not sure how long, lets say 18 units.

It looks like a boy based on these pictures. However, that could be due to the fact it does not have hair yet. I'm trying to imagine it with hair. Then it might look like a girl.
I didn't know that you guys are waiting to find out! That is so much fun. I have to say though, I'm predicting a boy. I'm glad everything is okay with the little one!!
Nice! We didn't get a 3D ultrasound until I was 27 weeks- they're kinda crazy aren't they?! A bit creepy when the ultrasound tech makes it look like your baby has a gaping hole in the head too... can't wait to see more cutie baby bump pics of Katy!
